COMPETITION TIME: Monday, Tuesday. Starting times to be advised.

QUALIFICATIONS: At closing date - Age eligibility- as at 1st July 2015

COMPETITION CONDITIONS:

  1. All skaters must be valid SAFSA Members.

  2. Their membership fees must be up to date, and the three month rule will be enforced.

  3. The entry fee of R750.00 for single, R1000.00 for pairs and ice dance and R5000.00 for a synchronized skating team, must be paid directly into the relative Provincial bank account.
    a. Provinces to make a single bulk payment of National entries to the SAFSA HQ bank account.

  4. No entries will be accepted without the accompanying programme content forms.

  5. No late entries will be accepted.

  6. Please print names and check spelling, as this list is used for certificates and the championship programme.

  7. All music must be sent by the coach to shern@icerink.co.za in MP3 format with the skaters name and details of the programme. This music will be used for the official practice in the main sound system. Please have a back up CD of your music available during the event for any emergencies.

  8. Provinces please co-ordinate entries on the appropriate entry forms, verify qualifications, eligibility and dates of birth and email these to the
    email addresses listed on the forms.

  9. Proposed Schedule to be advised once final entries are received.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  1. Registration
    No official registration. All information to be handed out at the draw

  2. Spectator Fee
    A spectator entry fee of R40.00 per single entry or a season ticket of R100.00 valid for the duration of the competition will be available at the door.

  3. Photographer
    Photographs will be taken of your programme. This is an order, print and pay service directly to photographer. A programme video will also be made available for purchase.

  4. Parade
    Provincial track suits must be worn for the parade at the beginning of the competition. This will take place on Monday 23rd May and all competitors are expected to be in attendance and no excuses will be accepted. The National Anthem will be sung at this time.

  5. Awards
    Only skaters receiving medals will be allowed on the ice during the awards ceremony to receive their medals.

  6. Skater Tributes
    Competition Memorabilia and other goods will only be on sale during the competition and will be available from the Goodie Shop
    Only well-wrapped items, fluffy toys and wrapped flowers are allowed to be thrown onto the ice. No loose sweets or breakable items are permitted.

  7. Accommodation
