RESULTS

PHOTOGRAPHS:
Photographs will be taken during the event after your first skate, in the kiss and cry area by Sion Stanton, and skaters will get one free posed photo, 1st place in each section will receive one free photo of their podium. Any additional photos on a pay with order system (@R40 each) and to be arranged with the photographer.

Kristina Foster is offering an action photo package to skaters as well as a video of the event. These must be pre-ordered and she can be contacted at the registration on Thursday 15th for arrangements.

Spectator fee:
R40 per event Children U 12 R20.00
Season tickets @ R120 for all 4 competition events, available at the registration on Thursday 17:00-19:00 at the rink as well as from the cashier at the rink.

Official practice times on Friday are for all Provinces including WP, and are tight, Music will be played only once, and in the scheduled order. No deviations permitted. Skaters to be ready in line for their run through.

An unofficial practice schedule has been circulated. Patch cards must be purchased for all these sessions from the Skate Shop, and presented at the cashier to obtain a wristband which must be worn at all times.
Coaches all have to purchase a coaches card and follow the same procedure.
There is no practice ice scheduled for the afternoon sessions and we ask that you respect that that ice is primarily for the WP skaters only.

Registration: Thursday 15th
Your competitors badge will be presented to you at the registration and it is compulsory to attend, (Also for registered coaches, judges and team leaders 1 per province)
Please wear/display badge at all times to ensure entry to both the centre and the Ice Rink during both practice and competition times.
Dress code for the Competition is Provincial Track Suits and no National Colours to be worn.

All music, Your music must be in MP3 format, and should have reached us by the closing date, as a master will be used for the event and no single discs will be accepted in the sound-box.  You are however advised to have a copy with you in case of emergency.

All SAFSA membership subs must be up to date, and the three month rule will be enforced.

All skaters are invited to a Spur Meal on Friday 17th Oct at 18:00, and a voucher will be included in your pack at registration to present to the waitron as payment.
A group area will be designated for the skaters which will be directed by the Spur staff upon arrival.
Coaches and parents are welcome to join at their own expenses, but the skaters must sit together in the designated area for billing purposes – the parents to arrange their own seating with the waitron.

Please be at the rink at least 30 minutes prior to your section, in case the competition runs ahead of time.

Only well-wrapped items, fluffy toys and wrapped flowers are allowed to be thrown onto the ice. No loose sweets or breakable items permitted.

A parade of ALL competitors will take place on Sunday at approx 14:00 – competition dress- Provincial track suits – no blazers - and skaters will remain on the ice during the awards ceremony. All presentations will be done on Sunday 18th October 2015 at approx. 14:00.
